Sep 5 - Demo Dance Class
Held in Faulkner Hall. If you wish to perform with the demo group you should attend this class. The class is open to everyone, but the format varies from our regular classes, with the concentration being on footwork, technique, & style.

Sep 6 - 18th Century Clothing Workshop
Featuring Ms Jane Pease, presenting a program representing both Ladies & Gentlemen’s attire. A light lunch will be provided. Whether you are a newbie OR a seasoned "vet" in 18th century Living History, a lady or a gentlemen – this event is for you! Please RSVP by Friday Sep 5th so we can be sure to have enough seating & food. Free. Event flier.

Sep 13 – “Our Living Legacies”
RCHS will be a featured demostration at the Mary Washington House during this annual event. Other featured exhibits and demonstrations honoring the crafts of the 18th and 19th centuries will be held at Mary Washington House, Hugh Mercer Apothecary, Rising Sun Tavern and St. James’ House. $
10am-4pm at Mary Washington House

Sep 20 - Fredericksburg Welsh Festival
RCHS dancers become Welsh for the day as we participate in the East Coast's only Welsh festival! The event is co-sponsored by the Welsh Society of Fredericksburg and the James Monroe Museum. Suggested donation.

This will be a dance program for 6th grade. We will meet at the Giant parking lot on Rt 3 at 8:30 to carpool.

Sep 26 - Caledon Home School Day
Homeschoolers, start the year out by enjoying a fun filled, education filled day at Caledon. Various non profit organizations, state agencies, private crafters and others will be on hand to provide information, demonstrations and activities related to history, education and the environment. $

Demonstrations, crafts and entertainment. New this year: American Heritage Chocolate will be demonstrating the 18th-century chocolate-making process! Fifty juried artisans from across the nation will demonstrate their trades and sell their wares while two stages of family entertainment delight audiences with 18th-century amusements. $
